The Perfect Nighttime Treat
It's freezing in Minnesota but this delicious, guilt-free snack warms me right up! And it makes the perfect post-workout snack 🍌.
All I do is microwave a small, ripe banana for 30 seconds in a bowl then mix in cinnamon and vanilla or almond extract and mash it all up. It's the dreamiest thing and won't leave you feeling too full. Plus, the potassium from the banana is just what our bodies need after a late night run or yoga sweat sesh. Bananas contain natural sleep promoting sources like melatonin and tryptophan, making it even more perfect for that late-night craving.
